The Green Hornet, première projection test concluante

On aura tout entendu à propos du nouveau film de Michel Gondry. Personnage créé dans les années 1930, Le Frelon Vert (Green Hornet) a connu de nombreuses incarnations que ce soit en comics, séries TV et films. 2011 marquera donc le grand retour de ce personnage.

Cependant, depuis plusieurs mois courent des rumeurs selon lesquelles le premier montage du film fut très mal accueilli par les studios Sony Pictures en charge de la production, mais les dernières infos qui nous parviennent semblent révêler le contraire.

Le magazine L.A. Times a publié un article dévoilant que le film a reçu un très bon accueil lors d'une projection test effectuée devant un public.

"After the ratings cards were tabulated, the movie had scored a 93 rating in what is known as the top two boxes (the percentage of people saying the film was either excellent or very good) with 83% of the moviegoers saying they would “definitely recommend” the film to their friends.

Even if the film was shown for the kind of younger audience that would be most likely to want to see it, those are impressive numbers, which is perhaps why the studio executives on hand at the screening were seen breathing huge sighs of relief. In fact, the Sony high command was so buoyant that Amy Pascal was overheard talking about the possibility of a sequel after seeing the test results."

Pour résumer, 93% du public a noté le film "bon" ou "très bon", et 83% recommanderont le film à leurs amis.
Enchanté par ces résultats, Sony envisage désormais de tourner une suite.
